Partners in Love Page 4

Tyler fucks him smooth and steady. Dylan lets himself get lost in the flow of it, his voice quickly tipping towards hoarse as he lets out a constant stream of moans and groans dappled heavily with Tyler’s name. When Tyler’s hand finally sneaks down between their stomachs to wrap itself around Dylan’s cock, he can’t choke back the whimper it rips from him. Tyler strokes Dylan in time with the thrusting of his hips, and Dylan can feel his orgasm building in the base of his spine. Can feel it spreading outwards as the coil in the base of his stomach wrenches itself tighter and tighter. He can feel the way Tyler’s started to falter, the uneven tempo his hips have taken on, and knows that he’s close as well.

That just makes Dylan feel that much hotter, the knowledge that they’ll go over the edge the same way they do everything else. Together.

“T-Tyler!” Dylan’s voice catches and breaks on his name as that coil in his gut wrenches itself almost painfully tight. “I’m coming. Please!”

Tyler’s groan echoes Dylan’s as the coil in his stomach finally snaps and the darkness of his closed eyes is lit up with a burst of color and he spills over the tight ring of Tyler’s fingers. He feels Tyler pulse inside him as he comes, his hips thrusting a few more times before he finally goes still as well with a harsh, pleasure-laden groan.

They stay that way for a minute, panting, chests pressed against each other tightly before Tyler pulls out of him with a groan and rolls to the side. Dylan pries his eyes open and drowsily watches him.

He pulls the condom off, knots it, and throws it into the bedside trashcan with a single fluid movement before he flops back down on the bed and gathers Dylan closer to him with an arm that’s still quivering. Dylan squirms briefly, feeling sticky and all fucked out but overall sated and blissful as he rests his head against Tyler’s glistening chest.

“You know,” Tyler huffs the words out in a slightly bewildered tone, as if the very thought surprises him, “I never had more love for an octopus than what I’ve got right this minute.

“Ain’t the octopus you’d better love, you idiot.” Dylan rolls his eyes and swats tiredly at Tyler’s shoulder before he curls his arm around his partner’s chest.

“Love you too,” Tyler reassures him lazily. “Best marriage in the world.”

“Still not your damn wife,” Dylan protests halfheartedly. He’ll never tell the other man, but the now familiar joke sends a spike of love through his chest. Makes him feel almost bubbly with joy, because this? What they’ve found together, somewhere between marriage jokes and an irresistible octopus tattoo? This partnership they’ve built together that goes so far beyond the job? Well, it’s more than he’d ever imagined he’d have. Somehow, against all odds, Dylan’s managed to find the one thing he’s always needed and never knew he wanted.

Somehow, he’d found Tyler. And Dylan plans on keeping him for as long as possible.

His partner in life and in love.
